It’s kick-off week!
It’s the inaugural week for our new Indy Eleven professional soccer team, and they have a great marketing schedule ahead of them this week. The entire schedule is here.
But for the FREE event highlights, which is what we’re all about here at Indy on the Cheap, circle these times on your calendar:
Monday, April 7 (also known as today) Practice in the Community, taking place at Off The Wall Sports in Carmel from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Watch Head Coach Juergen Sommer put your checkered-clad heroes through their paces during training from 4:30-5:30, followed by autograph and photo opportunities with all members of the team’s roster. The FREE event also includes interactive activities, complimentary refreshments and the also popular array of Indy Eleven giveaways! Note that due to the rain forecast, this is a new location announcement from what the team previously set up.
Friday, April 11 – Wear Your Colors Day / Lunchtime Rally, 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Chatham Tap If it’s the 11 th of the month, you know Indy Eleven will be out and about – especially on the eve of its Inaugural Game! Indy Eleven will ask all fans to don the red, white & blue of their favorite team on Friday and invites all fans to a high noon rally at the Chatham Tap, located at 719 Massachusetts Ave., to get officially introduced to their checkered-clad heroes that will take the field the following night.
Plan to be there. It will be a kick.
