Even Defending Champs need home crowd support.
While the Pacers are gearing up for what is hopefully a long playoff run, the Indiana Fever are headed toward starting the season as defending champions. The Indiana Fever, led by veterans Tamika Catchings and Katie Douglas, triumphed over the competition in the WNBA last season and are looking to continue their winning ways into the future.
To build a WNBA dynasty here in Indy, however, the Indiana Fever will need your help and support as fans. Part of that starts with accepting the invitation to attend the Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Assistant Coach Stephanie White, Freddy Fever, and the Indiana Fever personnel will all be on hand to provide fun activities as well as information about 2013 ticket plans. Here are some of the fun activities you can look forward to at Bankers Life Fieldhouse:
- Shoot a Free Throw on the Main Court
- Meet Stephanie White and Freddy Fever
- Bring your camera and take photos at center court and/or with the 2012 Championship Trophy
Attending the Open House will NOT obligate you to purchase Indiana Fever tickets, but you’ll be able to hear more about the benefits and perks that come with being a season ticket holder (i.e. invites to MVP events and more). You can also ask questions and gather more information about prices of various packages. Given that the Open House is tomorrow night, you’ll need to RSVP sometime today.
