The world is always changing, yet always stays the same. Regardless of other circumstances, we are constantly grooming our children to take over as the next generation in charge when they grow up. The need for quality youth mentoring is always present, and groups devoted to this noble goal are important. One such group here in our local community is Impact Youth, Inc.
The only youth mentoring program in Hendricks County at this time, Impact Youth seeks to improve the lives of children around them by providing them with caring and invested mentors willing to volunteer their time to help a child see a brighter tomorrow. While you’re there, however, we hope you download and print the available flyer for the upcoming restaurant fundraiser. From 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, Hurricane Grill and Wings will be holding the fundraiser. If you present the flyer to your server within that time, Hurricane will donate 20% of your bill to Impact Youth. If you already have plans for Wednesday and won’t be able to make it over to Hurricane, the website also allows for direct donations if you feel called to give.
As you might expect, Hurricane Grill and Wings serves delicious wings. They also offer steaks, seafood, chicken, burgers, and Phillies. And like the name suggests, the atmosphere there is designed to be as relaxed and fun as a restaurant along the beach. If you come in on Wednesday, you will be supporting a great cause while enjoying a great meal in a fun place. Basically, everyone wins.
