There’s more to IHOP’s all you can eat pancakes than meets the eye

Last week, we posted about IHOP’s all you can eat pancake deal this month.

Now the deal just got sweeter.

For the first time ever participating IHOPs in the Indianapolis area are holding a Pancake Bowl competition, where guests eat as many pancakes as they can and try to earn a spot on the leader board. You can participate through January 26, when the top 10 pancake eaters in our city will be invited to participate in the Pancake Bowl on February 1. The winner of the Pancake Bowl will receive a $500 IHOP gift card, and the top eater at each restaurant will receive bragging rights–and FREE pancakes for one year! (defined as one full stack (4) of any same-flavored pancakes from the IHOP menu per week for one year).

Talk about a super Bowl.

So, how do you participate? Simple, Order the all you can eat pancake deal at IHOP and start shoveling. Make sure your wait staff knows you are keeping a count of the downed flapjacks to verify your results.
