It looks like another beautiful weekend awaits us. We’re near the end of the work week, and we can’t think of a better way to transition to the weekend than Indianapolis’s 25th Annual Ice Cream Social on the Circle, sponsored by the American Dairy Association Indiana. On the southeast quadrant of Monument Circle in the heart of the city (in front of the Hilbert Circle Theatre), you can enjoy ice cream on the cheap while benefitting a good cause.
From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, you can enjoy a giant ice cream sundae for just $3. July is National Ice Cream Month, but you’ll get more than just ice cream itself in these sundaes. They are gigantic, and you can drizzle chocolate, strawberry, or caramel syrup on yours. You can add Girl Scout cookie crumbles, along with other available toppings. As you might suspect from the presence of the cookies, this Ice Cream Social benefits the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
Finally, you can look forward to receiving your sundae from one of the more than 30 celebrity scoopers on staff. You’ll see local media personalities, sports figures, and business dignitaries. The Pacers Fan Van will be on hand, along with cows from Purdue Dairy Services, face painters, a photo booth, and more fun to uncover on the Circle.
