Christmas for those left behind
For many of us, December is not the most wonderful time of the year, and we’re a long way from having ourselves a merry little Christmas now.
No matter why you’re feeling blue during this month or what is triggering your depression, St. John’s United Church of Christ at 7031 S. East Street invites you to attend their Blue Christmas Service on December 15 at 5:30 pm. The evening calls for a brief message of hope, and you’ll have a chance to light a candle for each concern and receive a private, individual prayer and blessing. Light refreshments will be served after.
