The holidays are fast approaching – a time of happiness, warmth, and goodwill among family and friends. But for those who are struggling to make ends meet due to employment trouble, the holidays lose a great deal of their luster. Express Employment Professionals understand this struggle more than most, as they have been seeing it from their office in Hamilton County every day for the past seven years. They promote local hiring and local relationships, and want to help those seeking employment in the greater Indianapolis area this time of year. That desire has led them to this inaugural year of their new program called Hire 1 Help 2.
So, how can you help? You can hire an Express associate during the week of November 5 to November 11. You will gain a qualified worker to help meet your needs, and the worker will earn a paycheck before the holidays. In the meantime, Express is partnering with Living Bread, Inc., which is a food pantry ministry of Mount Pleasant Christian Church. For every person given a job, Express will donate a full Thanksgiving meal to one needy family. Their goal is to feed over 250 families in Indianapolis, and you can help make that happen.
Don’t worry if you are not in a position to hire someone at your place of business, either. Individual hiring can work as well if you need your home office organized or even someone to help clean out a garage. As our Cheapsters know from the savings we try to identify for them, every little bit helps add up to a real difference.
