You know that warm feeling you get in your chest when you know you’ve done your part to help those in need? It’s hard to describe to those who haven’t felt it, but there’s an undeniable warmth that comes from being charitable. Tijuana Flats recognizes that, and wants to add to that warmth by literally heating up your chest with hot sauce.
Tijuana Flats wants you to be a Hero for the Holidays. To do so, donate $5 the next time you visit the Fishers restaurant. You’ll receive a bottle of Charity Hot Sauce, to make that warm and fuzzy feeling even warmer. The proceeds of this hot sauce fundraiser directly benefit Kids Beating Cancer. As the appropriate name would suggest, Kids Beating Cancer helps children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It was created back in 1992 by Margaret Voight Guedes in memory of her son John Voight. John had unfortunately lost his battle with leukemia earlier in that year.
We figure Tijuana Flats was already on the short list of places you might visit for dinner tonight, as Taco Tuesdaze are the best days of the week to visit Tijuana Flats (for full details on Taco Tuesdaze, click here). With the money you’ll save on your tacos, you’ll barely be spending anything extra if you buy the Charity hot sauce. Plus, you get to take the sauce home with you. Everyone wins when you become a Hero of the Holidays.
