We have to give props to That Place Bar and Grill for the fun name. If you’ve ever heard the “Who’s on first” comedy routine, you can probably envision a funny conversation leading to a meal at That Place. Plus, if the company ever expanded into another line of business, the name for the other branch could always be This Place. The marketing team could then advertise it as “a little this and that.”
Now that we’ve made That Joke, let us get to the point of telling you to mark This Thursday on your calendar. That’s because That Place Bar and Grill is holding a BBQ cookout on Thursday, July 18. If you pay just $6, you can enjoy a half-rack of smoking ribs on the big grill. Not only that, but you’ll receive helpings of Jim’s Famous Baked Beans and Becky’s Famous Cole Slaw.
That Place is located at 8810 S. Emerson Avenue in Greenwood. In addition to the excellent food, you’ll also find entertainment including golden tee golf, six pool tables, darts, shuffleboard and four Mega-Touch Machines. It’s no joke that you won’t want to miss all That.
