It seems like all you have to do is flip open the paper or turn on the news and you’ll hear more about the v-word. And no, we’re aren’t talking about the Volunteers of Tennessee who are bringing their basketball team to Indy this weekend. No, we’re talking about violence, and how it is unfortunately growing here in our city. If this trend is as disturbing to you as it is to us, you should investigate tonight’s Town Hall discussion from 93.1 WIBC and Greg Garrison.
Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesda,y March 25 at the historic Fountain Square Theatre, this town hall meeting about violence in Indianapolis is FREE and open to the public. If you attend, you will hear from expert panelists on home and personal safety, as well as guns. If you’re interested, you can even purchase top-notch home security items at the town hall (though you certainly aren’t obligated to purchase anything).
If you have a particular question you’d like to ask any of the panelists, make sure to submit yours on Twitter with the hashtag #WIBCtownhall. The experts will answer many of the submitted questions at the town hall meeting, and that could easily include yours. If this FREE event sounds interested to you, we’ll see you tonight in Fountain Square.
