Our Cheapsters that live in or near Hamilton County may already be aware that this northern Indianapolis county is blending all the sections of its holiday festivities into one huge program that they are calling the 12 Days of Christmas. It would be impossible for us to detail every aspect of the 12 Days of Christmas in Hamilton County, but we want to point out just how many goings-on there are this time of year.

Arts: On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from now through Christmas, you can check out the Gifted Exhibit at the Nickel Plate Arts Campus in Noblesville. Hamilton County’s gifted artists will be on display, sharing their talents and their wares.
Performances: The Indiana Wind Symphony will be performing at the Palladium at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday December 7. The show will feature soundscapes that capture the spirit of the season through picturesque holiday compositions. For tickets, contact the Box Office at (317) 843-3800.
Home Tours: From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday December 14, you can join the FREE candlelight tour at the Museum of Miniature Houses. This event takes place at 111 East Main Street in Carmel.
Tastes: The Winter Farmers Market at the Indiana Design Center sets up from 9:00 a.m. to noon every Saturday from now until mid-March. It’s FREE to stop by and peruse the offerings, where you’ll find meat, baked goods, teas, vegetables, and eggs. The Winter Farmers Market is produced and managed by the Carmel Farmers Market Committee.
Contests: Hamilton County is adding to the fun throughout the 12 Days of Christmas with contests. One in particular is Instagram-related, and it’s easy to participate. Snap and share photos of your holiday fun in Hamilton County. Make sure to tag your photos with #HC12days, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a prize pack. Enter before December 31 to be eligible to win this contest.
