We did it the old-fashioned way — showing up in stores across the city with a small notebook and pen in hand to write down base prices on Halloween candy for the trick-or-treaters. Sure, it’s a good idea to wait until a few hours before goblins ring your doorbell, but if the price is right, we’re betting you can find the willpower to help your wallet.
