Even when they aren’t running a clearance sale, Half Price Books is a dream business for us. When Cheapsters go out in search of books, there is rarely a better value available than Half Price Books. As the name suggests, after all, Half Price Books tend to sell for half the price of other bookstores out there in the market.
When you take a store that is already that good of a deal and create a clearance sale, you might as well be giving books away. That’s exactly the opportunity you can take advantage of this weekend. From 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on both Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22, as well as from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, Half Price Books is holding its huge Clearance Sale at the Agriculture Building within the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
All Half Price Books locations around will be contributing merchandise to make this event huge. Every book you find will be available for $3 or less. As if that wasn’t incentive enough, though, you can also take home some FREE swag if you arrive early. The first 200 customers each day will receive a FREE Half Price Books tote bag. Finally, starting at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, they will donate unsold merchandise to any person or group with a 501(c)(3) status.
Summer is a great time to lounge around and read a good book. With this Clearance Sale, you can pick up plenty of those books on the cheap.
