When you write as many posts as we do for Indianapolis On The Cheap week in and week out, certain key words and phrases start to sound really familiar. One such example is FREE Cone Day (referring to ice cream, not geometry). FREE Cone Day sounds like something that happened sometime last month, and presumably the world would agree on one National Cone Day per year. If both statements are true, Haagen Dazs declaring a day this week to be FREE Cone Day would seem to be a head-scratcher.
However, we don’t critique businesses on what they name their giveaways or how often they hold them. Our job is to convey that information on to you so that you can save money. Regardless of whether it runs in our memories that FREE Cone Day has been offered before, the good news it’s happening again with Haagen Dazs. Come in from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 14 and you can enjoy a FREE scoop of your favorite flavor.
Haagen Dazs recently added Gelato to the menu, and you are welcome to choose that for FREE Cone Day if you would like. Either way, the only Haagen Daz in the Indianapolis area is located downtown at Circle Centre Mall (the specific address is 49 W. Maryland Street).
