Yesterday, we published a post about FREE summer concerts you could see at various Indy Parks around the city (you can click here to read this post if you missed it or want a reminder). For those Cheapsters on the south side, however, you don’t necessarily have to travel north to see summer concerts. The suburb of Greenwood is hosting a number of its own summer concerts this month.
These summer concerts are held at either the Greenwood Park Mall or the Greenwood Amphitheater, but they are all FREE to attend. Here’s the full rundown for the month of July:
Thursday, July 11: Tastes Like Chicken performs at Greenwood Park Mall. All the concerts taking place at Greenwood Park Mall last from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Many will feature food provided by nearby restaurants, and the musical entertainment will take place by the outdoor fountain on the north side of the mall.
Saturday, July 13: The Blue River Band, one of Central Indiana’s finest country bands, will begin performing at 7:00 p.m. at the Greenwood Amphitheater. All of the non-Greenwood Park Mall summer concerts will feature lawn seating. You are encouraged to bring your own chairs for these concerts.
Thursday, July 18: Peace Train performs at the Mall.
Saturday, July 20: Zanna-Doo! performs at 7:00 p.m. at the Amphitheater.
Thursday, July 25: Toy Factory performs at the Mall.
Saturday, July 27: Parrots of the Caribbean perform at 7:00 p.m. at the Amphitheater.
