We are so pleased to know that Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano’s leukemia is in remission right now. While it is great news that he won this battle, his war with cancer easily may not be over for good. And in the meantime, so many other people are suffering from the devastating effects that come from wars with this terrible disease. Our city has come together and become Chuckstrong, but we have to stay that way and keep raising money to combat cancer of all kinds.
Thef Great Clips hair salon chain is the latest company to get behind the Chuckstrong campaign. Fans can shave their heads in honor of Coach Pagano by visiting any of the participating Great Clips locations. (There are way too many local locations to list in this post, so we encourage you to check with your closest location and ensure ahead of time that they are participating in this fundraiser.) For each fan with a shaved head, Great Clips will donate $10 toward the Chuckstrong campaign. They are also encouraging fans to tweet their photos afterward using the Chuckstrong hashtag.
Pat McAfee kicked off the campaign Tuesday at the location at 55 S. Raceway Road by touching up his recently shaved head, and he encourages you to do the same between now and when the fundraiser concludes on Friday, November 23.
You can also pre-pay $9.99 for future haircuts, no expiration date on when you redeem them. It’s the “forever stamp” of the grooming industry, and we have details here.
