If Kermit the Frog were ranking holidays based on how green they were, St. Patrick’s Day would definitely take first place. However, Earth Day would be a close second. The two holidays have nothing else in common beyond the green color, kind of like how the Disney Store has little connection to Staples beyond being a retail store.
Just for today on Tuesday, April 22, however, Earth Day brings Disney and Staples together to promote a greener tomorrow. Both stores are offering Earth Day specials, but we will start with Staples. Staples is offering a 50% discount on eco-conscious cleaning products. Click here to check out all the products on sale, ranging from paper towels and chemical soaps to trash bags, mops, and vacuums.
The Disney Store is also participating with parents and kids to help the environment for Earth Day. On Tuesday, April 22, you can receive a FREE Disneynature Bears reusable tote bag when you bring in and recycle five plastic shopping bags (limited to one per customer while supplies last). Indianapolis’s Disney Store is at 6020 East 82nd Street in Castleton Square Mall.
To paraphrase our amphibian friend, it may not be easy being green. However, Earth Day is a great day to focus on going green.
