Many Cheapsters are probably excited to be thinking about Veterans Day and Thanksgiving (with Christmas not so far behind). We are happy to look forward to the next set of holidays, too, but it’s understandable if you are sad to think that Halloween is over. Luckily, you can still get your scare fix with opportunities like the Ghost Walk coming up in Westfield next week.
You are welcome to attend a brief encounter with Westfield’s most haunting legends and folk tales from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15. The cost for this event is $18, which we realize may fall outside the domain of what Cheapsters call Friday night fun on the cheap. However, the fact that tickets for these events sell out so quickly every time makes us think at least some of you will consider that a great deal. We aim to please, so you can click here to register for the Ghost Walk.
This walking tour is filled with stories of ghosts of the Underground Railroad and those who helped them escape. The stories will intertwine with modern day tales of gangsters and mischief from Westfield’s haunted history. Participants of all ages will enjoy hearing about the spirits from the past of Westfield along the two hour Ghost Walk. Accordingly, there are discounts for seniors and children. If you are 65 years or over or if you are 11 years old or younger, your tickets are $5 off.
