Refuel during Gen Con
Whether you are a casual fan of strategy gaming or never miss a gaming convention, you do not want to miss Gen Con 2012, when the biggest gaming convention in the country comes to Indianapolis. August 16 – 19 will be known as the best four days in gaming, but even the most avid gamer needs a hot lunch to refuel. Luckily, a couple of the restaurants downtown recognize this and have deals specifically designed for all the hungry gamers:
- Ruth’s Chris: You can order a Ruth’s Steak Break Lunch on August 17 including two steak sliders, chips, and a cookie for $9.95. All orders must be placed by August 13 (follow the link to place your order), and lunches can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 17. You can also receive a discount if you wear a costume to the restaurant during Gen Con.
- Ram Brewery: Ram truly embraces the spirit of Gen Con, printing off special menus for the occasion with meals like the Orc’s Revenge Burger. The servers also often dress up in costumes during the event. You can follow Ram’s Facebook page for more updates on special Gen Con Deals.
