Gelato Fest lasts through July 31.
Ah, gelato. Gelato comes to us originally from Italy, providing a dessert alternative to ice cream with a third of the calories. Though it’s a healthier option, gelato is still creamy and full of flavor. Out of love for this particular item, Chocolate for the Spirit has devoted the entire month of July as Gelato Fest, and you’re invited to take part in the fun.
Through July 31, you’re encouraged to stop by the Chocolate for the Spirit location in the North East Aisle of Indianapolis City Market for daily specials and fun. This week in particular, however, you’ll be in for a real treat if you stop by on Wednesday, July 17. A master chocolatier will be working in the demo kitchen that day, making special gelato shakes and freezes that you can sample for FREE.
You’ll find that Chocolate for the Spirit makes its gelato in small, handmade batches with premium ingredients including (you guessed it) delicious chocolate. You can always find Chocolate for the Spirit at the City Market location, but you can also find them on Saturdays at Farmers Markets in Broad Ripple, Carmel, and Fishers.
