In our experience, paint ball tends to be a polarizing activity. People either love the game or just don’t get it at all. We’re assuming if you clicked on this post, you are among the former and appreciate the exhilaration. When you’re in the trenches with your friends, firing at the other side and knowing that if you aren’t careful you’ll be pinged by paint balls yourself sends adrenaline coursing through your body. It’s that kind of rush that can help you easily shake off hits that will leave bruises and make you dash headlong into the battlefield.
If you’re looking for a fun place to gather with your paint ball buddies, Battlegroundz (located at 2350 South State Road 37 in Greenwood) is starting a summer 3-Man Speedball League tomorrow. Every Wednesday night from June 4 through July 23, you can join in the fun from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. if you register. This league is open to all players, and the entry fee per week is only $15 per team (or $5 per person for two-and-a-half hours of entertainment).
The grand prize will be three virtue spires, and first- through sixth-place will earn medals. Finally, you’ll be invited to join in the Player’s Party after the July 23 Finals. So, gather your two best paint ball squadmates and take your place on the battlefield Wednesday nights this summer.
