If you’re fishing for deals, Gander Mountain is biting.
If you haven’t visited Gander Mountain lately, this is a big week for them that you won’t want to miss. Specifically, it’s National Fishing and Boating Week at Gander Mountain and you can enjoy special deals and events from now through Sunday, June 8. There are four Gander Mountain locations in the Indy area, and conveniently one on each of the four sides of town. You’ll find one in Greenwood, Avon, Castleton, and Greenfield.
As for this special week, the first item of note are the FREE showcases. Each of the next three days will feature a different FREE showcase in which you can find different demonstrations. Gander Mountain experts will show you how to use certain equipment and teach you how to safely enjoy your expedition into nature. Here’s the schedule:
- Tuesday June 3 – “Fishing Electronics”
- Wednesday June 4 – “Rod and Reel”
- Thursday June 5 – “Boater Safety”
After those showcases, there are two other events to mark on your calendar. Gander Mountain will hold a fishing/boating kids activity from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7. Stick around from noon to 2:00 p.m. and you can take part in a fish fry. Whether you are a master of the rod and reel or don’t even know where on the hook to place the bait, you’ll find plenty of interesting things to see at Gander Mountain this week.
