One of the growing cravings around town seems to be for frozen yogurt. Several ‘froyo’ joints have popped up around the city over the past several months and are attracting huge crowds. On Tuesday August 28, you can indulge this healthier alternative to ice cream and support a great cause at the same time. A restaurant deal website called dinnerbid has organized a fundraiser at the Orange Leaf Yogurt located at 6845 Bluff Road on the south side of Indianapolis. If you purchase frozen yogurt that day, 10% of your bill will be donated to Cara’s Crew’s Relay for Life, a Franklin-based group raising money and awareness to battle cancer.
And if you would like to make it a full meal, you can complement your yogurt with a juicy burger just down the road at Teddy’s Burger Joint (2222 West Southport Road), where the owners will chip in the same 10% donation. You will want to eat dinner anyway on Tuesday night, so you may as well help in the fight against cancer while you’re at it.
