The International House of Pancakes (IHOP) chooses National Pancake Day to be its biggest day of philanthropic fundraising. National Pancake Day occurs on Tuesday, February 5, and all guests who come in between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. that day will be given a FREE stack of pancakes. While that part of your meal is complimentary, guests will be encouraged to make a voluntary donation. 100% of the money raised from these donations will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The donations will specifically be sent to local charities that will provide vital equipment, life-saving procedures, and critical care for sick and injured children.
You may have heard of this National Pancake Day program before, as this will be the 8th annual event IHOP has hosted. To date, they have raised over $10 million for charities. For you, it’s simply some FREE pancakes along with perhaps a small donation. For the kids that it benefits, however, National Pancake Day can mean the difference between eating breakfast at the hospital or eating their mom’s homemade pancakes. So spread the word and eat one of your meals at IHOP on Tuesday.
