A FREE event to which Vincent Van Gogh would lend his other ear
Picture this scenario in your mind for a moment: You are traveling from studio to studio in an art center. You’re able to try your hand at a variety of different art forms, learning along the way and having a marvelous time. You walk away with all the art projects you can make, and you never have to pay a dime for the experience. That is the scenario that waits for you at the Indianapolis Art Center this Friday night.
From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, the Indianapolis Art Center is hosting an open house for the community. You don’t have to be a dedicated artist, and you don’t have to be a member of the Indianapolis Art Center to participate. For those two hours, anyone in the community is welcome to attend the open house for FREE.
Best of all, this isn’t just an evening where you sit and watch the experts demonstrate their crafts. You can experience all these art forms in a hands-on way, learning as you go and keeping everything you craft. The Indianapolis Art Center promises a flurry of fun at this FREE open house.
