We ran a post last week about FREE concerts you can attend in the month of July on the south side. We want to keep our northern Cheapsters in the loop as well, and let them know about opportunities to see FREE concerts in Hamilton County. Many of them are outdoor concerts, which are perfect for the warm summer evenings we have been having. Some of these venues offer weekly concerts, but not all of them start and end at the same time, so make sure to click the links to find out all the information.
Fishers Summer Concert Series: The Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (located at 6 Municipal Drive in Fishers) is playing host to weekly FREE concerts. The concerts last from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evenings through the end of July. The concerts are FREE, but they will be accepting donated items for TherAplay.
Summer Concerts at the Carmel Gazebo: The Gazebo is located at 1 Civic Square in Carmel, and offers FREE concerts starting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through August 7. For example, this week’s performance features The Back Beats. They are the first of four remaining groups to perform this summer.
Noblesville Summer Concert Series: Forest Park (located at 701 Cicero Road in Noblesville) plays host to these FREE concerts. Like Fishers, the Summer Concert Series lasts from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and they last through the end of July. These concerts are on Thursday evenings. The two remaining acts include Jesse Brown on July 18 and My Yellow Rickshaw on July 25.
Fridays After Dark: This concert series also takes place at Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. The concerts are on every Friday night from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. until September 13. All events are FREE, and you are allowed to bring food and drinks. If you’d prefer, some of the concerts will feature food trucks.
