FREE Child ID program at Golden Corral

If you blinked a couple of times in confusion at that article title, you aren’t alone. But just go with us on this and we’ll explain why Golden Corral is offering a FREE Child ID program.

A child is reported missing in the United States every 40 seconds. Horrifyingly, that means 800,000 children go missing every year. We don’t give you that statistic to paralyze you with fear, but simply to motivate you to take preparatory action in the unlikely event that your child joins that group. Less than 2% of parents have ever had their children’s fingerprints taken, and that can make a huge difference in cases like this.

Here’s where Golden Corral comes in. The Golden Corral restaurant located in Noblesville is offering a FREE Child ID program as a part of its “Making a Difference” campaign. Scott Van Kirk is the owner of that particular Golden Corral, and he is the father of four with a fifth on the way. He understands that while this world we live in can be a beautiful, it can also be frightening at times. For each child that participates in this program, parents will receive one Bio-Doc that contains both the child’s photograph and accurate fingerprints. Parents can add vital information to the form, and it can be used for kids as young as three months old. In the event that an emergency ever comes up, having this information could make a huge difference.

Here are the dates and times you can come in to the Noblesville Golden Corral for the FREE Child ID:

• January 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• January 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• January 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• February 5 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• February 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• February 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
