The weather lately may be a tad on the cool side for swimming in the pool, but it couldn’t be any better for bike rides. These are the sort of summer days cyclists love, and CIBA is picking the perfect time for the Mass Ave Ride Around Indy event. If you’re looking for FREE bike rides, it’ll be hard to beat this opportunity.
Granted, we realize you can go out and enjoy bike rides for FREE in your neighborhood whenever you like. What you won’t have with that setup is a course designed specifically for bike rides in an area as scenic as downtown Indy. Plus, you won’t have snack and rehydration stations scattered throughout your course. The Mass Ave Ride Around Indy lasts from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, August 10.
Participants can park next to the Bike Hub, then ride up the Cultural Trail on Alabama Street to the starting location. In order to participate, all you have to do is click here to register, and then show up with your bike and your helmet. You have three bike rides to choose from, all of which are FREE:
- 16 mile
- 38 mile
- 66 mile
Bike rides are fun regardless of where they take place, but this is a rare opportunity to race your bike through a beautiful city with plenty of like-minded companions. Register today and ride to your heart’s content this weekend.
