You don’t have to ride in the Tour de France to enjoy a long bike ride with a big group of people. Cycling is continuing to gain popularity around here as people realize what a fun and scenic kind of exercise it can be. Still, it can be tough to decide where you’re going to bike if you don’t happen to live near a park. If you think you’d be interested in joining a group of bikers in a weekly ride, keep The Bike Line in mind.
The Bike Line is a store at Carmel City Center by day. By Thursday night, however, it becomes the starting line for a 23 mile road ride. Starting at 7:00 p.m., all road riders are welcome to join in this bike ride regardless of experience level. The ride is completely FREE, and you’ll have an opportunity to ride with fellow bikers in a weekly exercise routine through beautiful scenery.
As mentioned before, you don’t have to pay to enjoy these weekly bike rides. If you join in and stick around into the fall season, however, you’ll probably want to consider grabbing a blinking tail light and head light for when the days grow shorter. Other than that, just bring your bike and prepare for a fun time. The Bike Line is located at 724 S. Range Line Road in Carmel.
