We’re going to assume, for the sake of this post, that all of our readers are from the Hoosier state. Our jurisdiction is the Indianapolis area, and while we welcome readers from places like St. Louis, Juneau, and Katmandu, this particular deal won’t work so well for them. Fourth of July is obviously coming up next week, and many people have a variety of different plans on how to celebrate our Independence Day.
One option if you don’t like hosting big parties at your house is to rent a hotel room downtown around the Fourth of July so that you can be right in the thick of the city celebration. Plus, you don’t have to make your bed the morning after. Of course, we’re talking to Cheapsters here, and some of you may hesitate at the thought of renting a hotel room in your own home city.
If you’re on the fence about this plan from a financial standpoint, bear in mind that several hotels here in Indianapolis are offering discounted room rates to Hoosiers for Fourth of July. To be more specific, you could save up to 30% at hotels from Wednesday, July 3 to Sunday, July 7 if you bring valid Indiana identification. Every hotel is a little bit different, and you can click here for the specific deals available at individual hotels in the city. If you don’t want to drive home from watching the fireworks show downtown on Fourth of July, now you know you can stick around on the cheap.
