If you’re looking for fun plans this weekend, you should bear in mind that the Fishers Rotary Club is holding its big winter fundraiser, Fishers on Tap. From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, you can enjoy Fishers on Tap at the Forum Conference and Events Center. This will be the second annual event, an opportunity for residents of Fishers, Hamilton County, and Indianapolis in general to taste the many creative craft beers that are brewed right here in our city.
Eight local breweries will be attending to share their brews with you, all helping support the fundraiser. Fishers on Tap donates the proceeds back into the Fishers and Hamilton County communitie—specifically, local schools, shelters, food and clothing pantries, and numerous support organizations will benefit from the evening. The Rotary Foundation will be matching all the proceeds dollar-for-dollar, meaning your attendance counts double for the local community.
So, now, how to save money on your attendance. For starters, it is in your best interest to order tickets to Fishers on Tap early. And by early, we mean today. General admission is still $40 today, but goes up to $45 tomorrow (Thursday, February 21). The other way to save a bit of money is to agree to be the desgnated driver of your group. If that role falls to you, you will not be served any alcoholic beverages during Fishers on Tap. However, your price of admission is only $20, and you can still enjoy the food and other entertainment. Specifically, you can enjoy the live music being provided by Dear Abby and The Bad Advice, as well as taking part in door prize giveaways and raffles.
The doors open for Fishers on Tap at 3:30 p.m., and we hope to see you there.
