As much as we would love to stoke our own egos and suggest that the reason our Cheapsters read our posts everyday is because they love our writing styles, we know that it’s really because you care about your finances. You understand that we live in a world of scarce resources, where we have to budget everything from our money to our time. Our readers are responsible enough to see the value in finding ways to live life on the cheap where possible. Because of this, we don’t think it’s much of a leap of logic to assume that financial planning is something of a priority for you.
For that reason, we want to let you know about Indianapolis Financial Planning Day. The city of Indianapolis and the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana invite you to attend Indianapolis Financial Planning Day from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. The event takes place at Schwitzer Student Center at the University of Indianapolis.
You’ll have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with dozens of professional financial planners and ask them any personal finance questions you have. You don’t have to worry about strings attached, as these volunteering professionals will not be passing out business cards. Furthermore, they will have no marketing materials and will not be trying to sell you any products or services. They are simply there to answer your questions and address your concerns and interests.
Financial Planning Day is completely FREE, and you can check out the full event agenda and topics available by clicking here.
