Five restaurants looking to make Dad glad on his special day
Yesterday, we published a post about gift cards you could purchase for Father’s Day from various restaurants that would give you a bonus back for buying in certain increments. But what about deals for actually eating out on Sunday?

Hooters – The wing restaurant priding itself on being “tacky, yet unrefined” is also a great place to take Dad for his special day. You guessed it — Hooters is offering BOGO on wings. If your dad orders 10 wings on Sunday, June 16, Hooters will throw in 10 more wings for FREE at any location.
Caribou Coffee – Click here to view and then print off a coupon Caribou Coffee has available now. This one is also a BOGO in which you can buy one drink and get a second drink FREE on Sunday. June 16 only. Both of Caribou Coffee’s Indianapolis locations are on the IUPUI Campus Downtown.
TCBY – The original frozen yogurt restaurant chain, TCBY is offering FREE yogurt for Dad on Father’s Day. The website claims the freebie is for up to six ounces of yogurt, but also notes that you should check with your individual location for full details.
Firehouse Subs – This offer is only at participating restaurants, so call ahead to your location before assuming they will honor the deal. For many, however, you can ask for a coupon to be emailed to you from the Firehouse Facebook page (click our Firehouse Subs link to go there). With the coupon, you will be required to order a combo, which includes a sub, chips, and a drink. Then, you’ll receive a FREE sub if you redeem the coupon on Father’s Day.
Quiznos – This deal isn’t actually a Father’s Day special, per se. It’s actually a coupon you can use any time between now and Monday, June 17. However, the valid timing still falls on Father’s Day weekend, so we included it here. Use the coupon and you’ll receive a FREE drink and chips if you purchase a large sub, large salad, or large grilled flatbread.
Boston Market – Download the coupon and you can buy any BBQ Ribs Individual Meal and get one FREE. This coupon is only valid on Sunday, June 16.
JT’s Grille and Bar: The folks at this independent restaurant on 54th St. are opening up their Chow Down Midtown menu at noon on Sunday. Additionally, you can order their all-you-can-eat pancake special for just $1.99 with the purchase of a beverage during breakfast hours starting Thursday, June 13 through Father’s Day on June 16.
Tamaleria Lupitas: All dads who stop in on Father’s Day receive a complimentary chocolate, each with a hidden coupon for FREE items and discounts they can use on the spot.
Buca di Beppo: Dads automatically get FREE cannoli on June 16, and a coupon for $10 off a bill of $20 or more valid through Sunday is available at this restaurant’s website.
