One of the greatest attributes of the United States is its status as a melting pot of cultures. Individual groups can maintain their ethnic and cultural identity here in this nation, but the mixture of all these groups results in an overall country that is even greater than the sum of its parts. To better understand and celebrate one of the groups that make up our country’s rich heritage, we encourage you to check out the Indiana Latino Expo this weekend.
The Indiana Latino Expo is a not-for-profit organization that has dedicated itself to highlighting Latino values in the community, including family and passion, while also collaborating and preserving the Latino Culture. Anyone is welcome to attend Latino Expo and learn more about this particular culture. The West Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds will be playing host to Latino Expo on Saturday, June 15.
Admission to Latino Expo is FREE, and you can look forward to plenty of fun things to see and do. Of particular note is the Amateur Dance Competition. There’s no registration fee, and first through third place will win prizes after dancing to a mix of different Latin music.
