We don’t normally jump ahead and talk about end-of-week events this early in the week, but the Linking Hands for Life event starts too early on Friday for us to put it in the Weekend Top Five list. Plus, we think this is an awesome enough deal that we should give it its own post in the spotlight. All we have to say is FREE Penn Station sandwiches, and we get the feeling you’ll agree.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11 on Monument Circle, you can join the Linking Hands for Life event. The event celebrates organ donors and their recipients. It can seem like a simple matter when you decide whether or not to be an organ donor, when in actuality it could make a big difference. The donor lists for viable organs are long, and the need is very real. While we hope that you never stop needing your organs, we encourage you to become a donor just in case.
If you need a little extra persuasion, lets turn our attention back to those FREE Penn Station sandwiches we mentioned earlier. If you show the event staff that you are an organ donor or you sign up to become one at the event itself, you’ll get a FREE Penn Station sandwich as long as supplies last. Penn Station tends to offer a more premium product than many of its competitors, so we recommend you arrive as close to 11:00 a.m. as possible if you want to enjoy a FREE lunch Friday.
