Dinner and a movie on the cheap
Whether you are out on a romantic date, hanging out with a group of buddies, or enjoying family-time, dinner and a movie seems to be a perfect pairing. Two local hamburger restaurants seem to have caught on to this, as they are offering incentives for you to grab dinner with them on those days when you head to the cinema. The two restaurants offer different deals, however, so we’ll take them in turn:
Johnny Rockets: Each of the three Johnny Rockets locations in town correspond to a movie theater. The way this promotion works is that for every meal purchase (a meal includes an entree, soda pop, or shake), you can purchase one discounted movie ticket for just $7.50. If you have seen ticket prices at the movies lately, you’ll know that this is a decent deal. Here are the three locations in town:
- 6020 E. 82nd Street, Suite 1411 in Castleton
- 49 W. Maryland Street, Room VC-9 at Circle Centre Downtown
- 1251 US Hwy 31 N, Room R100 in Greenwood
Teddy’s Burger Joint: This promotion is only available at one location at this time. But any time that you bring in a movie ticket from the Rave Theater at the Metropolis Mall with the current date on it, you will receive 10% off your meal at the Plainfield Teddy’s Burger Joint location (also in Metropolis Mall).
