It might seem as though October is Human Appreciation Month. The weather has grown cool enough for sweatshirt season, the pumpkin pie and apple cider are at their peak seasons, and Halloween is just around the corner. There is one other plus about this month, however, and it’s one we weren’t aware of until we were brought up to speed by Deal Scout Carole B. As it turns out, International Home Movie Day is on Saturday, October 19. To celebrate this particular holiday, Home Video Studio in Greenwood has claimed October as Customer Appreciation Month.
So, what does this mean for Cheapsters? Home Video Studio offers professional video production and post-production services for consumers, organizations, and corporate clients. What it boils down to is that these are great people to visit if you want high-quality video editing, video to DVD transfer, DVD duplication, video tape repair, and more. With it being Customer Appreciation Month, however, all these services are 20% off during October at Home Video Studio.
The deal doesn’t necessarily end there, however. The founder of Home Video Studio (Robert Hanley) is creating a feature length documentary called the Great American Home Movie. For this reason, Home Video Studio is holding a casting call and looking for Cheapsters from the community who would like to be interviewed about what American life was like during the 1940s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. If you think you could fit that bill, come by the Greenwood studio between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19. You may wind up making it into the film.
Thank you again to Deal Scout Carole B. for the tip that led to this post.
