CoverGirl will pay for your ticket to see the blockbuster smash.
Even the Cheapsters tuned in the least to pop culture are aware that Catching Fire (the sequel to The Hunger Games) has been blazing the box office. Even with everyone presumably busy enjoying Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping, Catching Fire pulled in $110.1 million that week from Wednesday through Sunday (specific statistics grabbed from CNN.com). Catching Fire seems to be a particularly appropriate title, as the movie is breaking records like the stranglehold Harry Potter had on the Thanksgiving weekend.
We know many of you have seen Catching Fire already, but this deal is for those of you who either have not seen it or would welcome a chance to see it again on the big screen. Right now, CoverGirl is offering a promotion with certain retailers to offer FREE Catching Fire movie tickets.
Step 1: Purchase $20 or more of CoverGirl products in a single transaction from any of the following retailers:
- Walmart
- CVS
- Walgreens
- Rite Aid
- Kroger
- ShopRite
Step 2: Snap a picture of your receipt with your phone and text or email it to cgcf@drvsusa.com. You have until December 31 to buy the cosmetics, and the picture of your receipt will be accepted up until January 7. Once they have received and validated your receipt, you will receive (within 24 hours) an e-Movie Cash Code to download your movie ticket to see Catching Fire. The ticket’s max value is $14, so you could even see the film in IMAX.
