Tuesday, September 23 is the official first day of autumn. We’ve been marking the end of summer since Labor Day anyway with the temperatures falling, but we’re about to make it official. Of course, you don’t have to be a fan of the show Game of Thrones to know that when autumn arrives, winter is coming. Particularly if you’re a parent, you know kids are going to have grown this year and likely need new clothes for the colder season to come.
With that in mind, we want to make it easier for you to refine your wardrobe on the cheap. As such, we’ve identified a list of a few upcoming fall consignment sales. Here’s the full roundup:
- Here We Grow Again – Indy South: Thursday, October 2 through Saturday October 4 (On Sunday, most items are 50% off). Takes place at the Johnson County Fairgrounds at 250 Fairground Street in Franklin.
- Whale of a Sale – Indy South: Saturday, October 4. Takes place at the Gathering Place at the Community Church of Greenwood at 1495 W. Main Street in Greenwood.
- Here We Grow Again – Indy West: Wednesday, October 8 through Saturday, October 11 (Most items are 25% off Friday and 50% off Saturday). Takes place at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds at 1900 E. Main Street in Danville.
As of right now, there are several other fall consignment sales that still have their sale dates TBD. We will update this post when we see updates from those sales (or hear about others). If you know of upcoming fall consignment sales not on this list, please let us know and we will add them to the list.
But in the meantime, we have a treat for Cheapsters. We have two pre-sale passes to the Here We Grow Again – Indy South event that will let you in for first pick on October 1 from 6 to 8 pm. We’ll hold a drawing on Friday at 5 pm to give away these tickets — to enter, leave us a message on this post and/or join our free Monday and Friday newsletter list. We’ll award one winner from each of those channels.
Good luck!
