If you were hoping for more ideas of how to entertain your kids during a Spring Break spent here in Indianapolis after our coupon post yesterday, you’re in luck thanks to Conner Prairie. The outdoor grounds of the interactive history park open back up on Thursday March 27, and it is both a fun and educational place to visit. If you’re looking for a particular attraction for kids aged between six and 10 years-old, the upcoming Cartoon Drawing event might be right up your kids’ alleys.
Conner Kids and Prairie Tykes often offer special events, which you can keep up with by clicking here and checking the site often. This particular event takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1 (we understand you being suspicious, but we’re relatively sure Conner Prairie isn’t fooling with all of us). Your kids can meet children’s author and cartoonist, Adam Self, who will help teach them the art of making cartoons in a fun environment. All the kids will also be provided with a snack.
The cost for non-members to attend Cartoon Drawing at Conner Prairie is $12, while members save a buck and pay just $11. If you think your children would be interested, you can call (317) 776-6006 to reserve spots for them. And if cartoon drawing isn’t something your kids will be into, there’s still plenty more to love at Conner Prairie.
