The INDIEana Handicraft Exchange is a modern and contemporary craft fair noted for its celebration of handmade good, as well as the relationship between creator and consumer. Along the Midwest indie craft fair circuit, the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange has gained a great reputation. It’s because of this great reputation that over 100 vendors are flocking to the upcoming Juried Art Show.
To join in the fun, come by the Harrison Center for the Arts (located at 16th and Delaware in Indianapolis) from noon to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday June 8. The Juried Art Show offers FREE admission, as well as food and live music. Most of the products you’ll see on display are both artistic and functional. From there, however, the level of variety is immense. Some vendors may bring wooden jewelry to the Juried Art Show while others will come with pop culture icon finger puppets.
Admission costs nothing, but you can purchase raffle tickets along the way. One ticket costs $2, while $5 buys you three and $10 buys you seven. The money raised from the raffle sale will be used to purchase art supplies for a different Indianapolis public school each year. Meanwhile, holding a raffle ticket could mean a prize for you provided by some of the vendors and sponsors.
If you want to be guaranteed of leaving with something, make sure you make it to the Juried Art Show by noon. The first 100 guests who arrive and come to the Yelp table within the foyer will receive a FREE swag bag with merchandise, treats, and discount deals.
