Do you want to know what’s funny enough to have you falling out of your seat laughing? A comedy routine from Myq Kaplan or Kevin McCaffrey. Do you want to know what is so unfunny that you won’t crack a smile when thinking about it? Cancer. You might be wondering why we’re mentioning these polar opposites, but the answer lies with Relay for Life and Morty’s Comedy Joint.
On Friday, February 21, Relay for Life is holding a fundraiser at Morty’s. It’s an opportunity to have a great time at cancer’s expense with the help of some professional comedians. If you feel like having a great time and supporting an even better cause, click here to purchase tickets for this night of comedy. Tickets are $15, and as long as you use the promo code “Relay” when you order, the cost will go directly into the valiant fight against cancer.
Once you’ve purchase tickets, you can arrive at 7:30 p.m. Friday, with the show starting at 8:00 p.m. You’ll be in for a real treat, as Myq Kaplan and Kevin McCaffrey are at the top of their field. Myq was a Top 5 Finalist on Last Comic Standing, has visited most of the late night comedy shows, and has his own half-hour Comedy Central show. Kevin was a contributing monologue writer for David Letterman, and he focuses more on content than volume with his comedy. Seeing even one of these comedians would make for a jubilant evening, but seeing both is even better.
As a final note, be aware that Morty’s also requires a two-item purchase during each show.
