It’s easy to jump on the bandwagon again with the Indianapolis Colts. The team has had its setbacks but looks to be gearing up for the playoffs and we’re all looking forward to seeing them take the field Sunday against Bruce Arians and the Arizona Cardinals. It’s easy to claim you’re a lifelong Indianapolis Colts fan, but true fans will want to back it up by stopping by Black Dog Books tomorrow.
Phillip Wilson, who has been a beat writer for the Colts at the Indianapolis Star for several seasons, published a book recently entitled 100 Things Every Colts Fan Should Know Before They Die. Even if you think you’re a diehard Colts fan, there are likely at least a few of those 100 things that you don’t know yet. Wilson will be visiting Black Dog Books from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23 to sign copies of his new book, and you are welcome to attend the signing.
Black Dog Books is located at 115 S. Main Street in Zionsville, and you can call (317) 733-1747 to reserve your copy of Wilson’s book as long as supplies last. If you aren’t a big Colts fan, you may prefer visiting Black Dog Books a week later if you have young kids. Costumed characters from the Indiana Dance Ensemble will be reading Christmas stories to children from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday November 30. Either way, there’s something for everyone to love at Black Dog Books.
