The Easter weekend tends to be a time of gathering with family and friends. And if you’re looking for our suggestion on what to do the day before, Circus Day would top the list. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, you and your loved ones are cordially invited to enjoy crawl under the big top at the Indiana Historical Society.
Circus Day is an annual tradition (this will be the 12th year) at the History Center. Admission is FREE to this incredibly fun event. Circus Day is geared toward kids, but the entire family will enjoy the festivities. You can check out live animal shows from Amazing World of Animals, as well as the Hampel Family Circus. Clowns, jugglers, and magicians will be making the rounds to entertain the kids, and you’ll be able to try out activities like face painting, balloon sculpting, and other crafts.
For those who are particularly competitive, Circus Day will also include carnival games with cool prizes on the line for the winners. While admission is FREE, the carnival games will cost 50 cents each. Either way, make sure to find time to visit with Radio Disney and explore the History Center itself. If there’s a better prelude to an Easter egg hunt than Circus Day, we haven’t found it yet.
