Well, the US Government is still shut down. It’s hard to say how long this impasse will last, but as the days continue to add up, so do the freebies emerging from companies that want to lend a hand to furloughed workers. If you missed our post about other freebies for those on hiatus from their jobs while the government is shut down, click here for a refresher. Then continue reading as we let you know about The Children’s Museum offer.
Many of the other freebies on the list are considered ongoing until the government shutdown is over. However, the Children’s Museum is offering a freebie just for this weekend. Starting today (Friday, October 4) and lasting through Sunday, October 6, all employees of the federal government can enjoy FREE admission at The Children’s Museum.
In order to receive the FREE admission, just bring your federal ID to the admission desk along with a photo ID. Even if you are a federal employee who is not furloughed, you can still enjoy the freebie. The offer also extends to active enlisted United States military personnel. Immediate family members of the active military personnel will still continue to receive the normal 10% discount The Children’s Museum always offers to military families.
