For this particular post, we’re addressing a different demographic than usual. All you Cheapsters out there who are between the ages of 13 and 17 (or parents of teenagers in that range), The Children’s Museum has an invitation for you to a completely FREE and fun event. If you click here, you can register for the event entitled Chew on This.
Indiana Humanities, a group designed to connect people in our state and encourage them to think critically, has designed this program. The goal is to bring the cyber savvy generation together to discuss face to face the pros and cons of texting, tweeting, and other technology. The event is completely FREE and includes dinner, the informal chat led by a fellow teen, and then dancing and music with DJ Obi Wan.
If you or someone you know would like to attend, the event lasts from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29 at the Children’s Museum. In order to attend, a parent or guardian will have to sign this waiver. Once you complete the form, make sure to return it to the Children’s Museum by Thursday, June 27. After that, just show up for FREE fun, food, music, and an interesting discussion about technology in all our lives today.
