With the weather so nice out lately, we know the kids have been bursting at the seams to go outside and have a great time running around. This weekend, you have an opportunity to show them a fun time for FREE if you head to Monument Circle. That’s because this Saturday May 11, Monument Circle is being transformed for the Chase 500 Festival Kids Day.
This Kids Day is the state’s largest outdoor FREE festival for children, so your kids won’t want to miss all the exciting activities and entertainment. The Chase 500 Festival Kids Day lasts from noon to 4:00 p.m., allowing you to soak up the Saturday sun while enjoying a fun and FREE time downtown. Kids will be able to take a ride on a 70-foot Ferris wheel, race remote-controlled cars, and even drive around in a race car simulator.
Exhibitors will be armed with more than 10,000 prizes to ensure that no child will leave Kids Day empty-handed. While the Indianapolis 500 is generally marketed to adult race fans, this fun time is all for the kids. You’ll see plenty of games, face painting, clowns, and even our beloved local mascots will make appearances.
