For our Cheapster parents out there: do you have a son (or know someone who does) between 1st and 8th grade in the Center Grove School Districts? If so, the Center Grove Boys Basketball League is taking registrations now for the 2012-2013 basketball league.
This is a great opportunity for your son to play a fun sport, exercise frequently, and interact with plenty of other kids his age. Regardless of his skill level in the game of basketball, he will be taught how to improve, how to compete as a team player, and how to demonstrate great sportsmanship. While this particular league is only open to boys in the Center Grove School district, we encourage you to watch for news of similar leagues in other districts as we do the same.
We wanted to highlight this one in particular because right now, registrants can take advantage of an early bird discount. Instead of the regular price of $125, you can register for $110 either online at the Center Grove Boys Basketball League website (you can always access further information there) or by walk-in registration at the Dick’s Sporting Goods store in Greenwood Park Mall between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday October 13. All Center Grove players will also receive a 15% off coupon to Dick’s. The early bird discounts end on October 22, however, so register now while the ball is still in your court.
