We hope to see you this weekend at the 15th Annual Carmel International Arts Festival taking place in the Arts & Design District (on Main Street and Rangeline Rd.) on Saturday September 22 and Sunday September 23. The annual event has grown much bigger over the past 15 years and now expects to host over 135 artists. Exhibits will include sculpture, pottery, 2D, jewelry, watercolor, oil, and many more forms of art. Admission is, as always, completely FREE. If you plan on joining the throngs (30,000 attended last year over the two days), here are a few more specifics:
- Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
- Visitors can catch a shuttle back and forth between Carmel High School during both days. Parking is available on Rangeline Road at the Indiana Design Center, including underground parking. The PNC Bank parking lot will also have handicap parking available.
- The Young Artist Tent, a very popular exhibit that features artwork from the students at Carmel High School, will return to the festival.
- You can bring the whole family, as the art exhibits are complemented by numerous shops and restaurants around the Arts and Design District.
