We recently welcomed Studio Movie Grill to Indianapolis, and they are hitting the ground running this week. The first week for SMG College Park will culminate with what they are calling the Cans Movie Festival this weekend. In honor of their grand opening, SMG College Park is organizing this film festival to benefit the local Gleaners Food Bank. Click here for more information on Gleaners itself.
So, what does this mean for our Cheapsters? From Friday, October 4 through Sunday, October 6, you can enjoy the Cans Film Festival by bringing in canned goods or non-perishable food items. Bring in at least two this weekend and you’ll receive a FREE ticket to any 2D movie SMG College Park is showing. Considering movies like Gravity and Runner Runner hit theaters this Friday, this is an incredible way for you to see a new movie for FREE (well, minus two cans of food). Be aware that the freebie applies to all movies, but you’ll still need to pay the marginal additional charge for 3D movies.
SMG College Park is located at 3535 W. 86th Street. All the cans donated will be given to Gleaners following the Film Festival this weekend.
